Dani Akollo ( born 05-14-2000, Assen, The Netherlands) is a multidiscplinary artist and cultural entrepreneur working at the intersection of performance, education and community. As the founder of the Relightyourfire Vision, he uses dance, music and club culture as tools for personal transformation, creative expression, and collective empowerment..

His journey began in 2015 at the dance school Feel Your Moves, where he first discovered the transformative power of movement. By 2017, he began teaching and from 2019 to 2023 je completed the Hip Hop Dance program at Creative College, Utrecht — deepening both his artistic and cultural knowledge. In that same period, he found a deep connection to Waacking (Punking), a form that has since become central to his style and message. From 2020 to 2023, Dani was an online-trainee with the international platform ED-Kpoplive, where he trained under renowned K-pop choreographers such as Rian, Hwang sooyeong, Bada lee & Wootae. His work has been recognized by K-pop artists including EXO’s Kai & Baekhyun, TVXQ’s Yunho, and SuperJunior’s Eunhyuk. Between 2020 and 2025, Dani has been active as a teacher in choreography, Hip hop basics, K-pop dance, and waacking, creating space for students to explore movement as identity and expression.

In 2022, he received an “"Honorable mention: Student of Excellence””, and in 2023 he was awared “Best social Dancer“ at Waacking Eleganza in Rome.

From starting to learning how to dance at the local dance school, Feel Your Moves, to dancing all over Europe. Dani has always been searching for knowledge and growth and trying to get the most out of the information passed on to him.

his dance training include a varies field of styles and perspectives. From learning how the Industry works to discovering what it means to be an independent artist.

through the philosophy of “each one, teach one“ Dani started to learn how to teach and how to share information.

Dani has been teaching to all levels, ages, and backgrounds since 17 . He sees the magic in teaching to people, how to fall in love with the music and express it through movement.

after graduating the hiphopdansopleiding Utrecht, he started to work. Gaining a lot of information and experience about the business and entrepreneuship aspect of being an indepenent artist.

Through Stark Ravin Mad, he created the 10 minute solo, The S.O.L (searcher of light). A show about a feeling of displacement, loneliness, and hope. In this work Dani researches what the “Lost Twin Syndrome“ feels like and how it expresses through a human. This work is in endless research & development, one of his fire-fuelers,

As of 2025, my path is evolving beyond the dance floor, integrating my passion for movement with a focused pursuit of cutting-edge innovation. My academic journey is strategically designed to bridge diverse fields, starting with a Bachelor's in Business Innovation (BI). This program provides me with a robust understanding of how to drive change, identify opportunities, and develop impactful solutions within dynamic markets.

Following my BI studies, I will delve into the immersive world of the Minor XR Design. This specialization in Extended Reality (which includes Virtual, Augmented, and Mixed Reality) will equip me with the skills to conceptualize and create innovative digital experiences, further pushing the boundaries of interaction and creativity.

My ultimate goal culminates in a Master's degree in AI Ethical Innovations. This advanced study will focus on developing artificial intelligence solutions that are not only groundbreaking but also socially responsible and ethically sound. I am committed to exploring how AI can be leveraged for positive societal impact, ensuring fairness, transparency, and human-centric design in technological advancements.

This interdisciplinary learning route reflects my ambition to combine strategic thinking with creative design and responsible technological development. I envision a future where I can contribute to meaningful innovations, perhaps even exploring the intersection of dance, technology, and ethical AI to create new forms of artistic expression and human connection.
